Cracked

Cracked is an Canadian TV series that apparently has already been green lit for a second series in 2014. That kinda pisses me off because many, many better shows never get a second series. Yet this predictable sub standard piece of garbage is already set for another spin.

Cracked follows the story of Detective Aidan Black played by David Sutcliffe. Who due to ‘issues’ is re-assigned from his SWAT team to a newly set-up Psych Crimes and Crisis Unit. Where instead of being paired up with another cop, his partner is a forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Daniella Ridley played by Stefanie von Pfetten.

Because of course a male, male team would not work, because well, you know, no sexual tension, no glamour. That’s this show all the way through predictable and disappointing.

The criminals are a motley connection of mental cases who in a real caring society would be locked up to protect them from themselves and the public from the f**ked up things they do when hearing voices etc.

I lasted less than three episodes before I bailed. Dull as f**k.

That’s all I gotta say, give this a miss or watch the British TV show Cracker from 1993 which stars Robbie Coltraine as forensic psychologist aiding the police. A significantly better show.
